(MENAFN) As more beauty-conscious French fell in love with innovative Korean products, France was the largest importer of South Korean cosmetics amongst EU members last year.
Accordingly, the western European Republic shipped in 17.41 million euros worth of Korean cosmetics over the prior year, representing 35 percent of overall sales in Europe.
The French mainly preferred multi-functional products, such as blemish balms, or BB cream, which has make-up, moisturizer and sunblock in a lightly, tinted formula.
To further expand their presence in the European market, data suggested Korean firms pay more attention to eco-friendly materials and marketing efforts with local partners.
