Samsung, UN to initiate support projects in Latin America


(MENAFN) Samsung Electronics Co. plans to roll out volunteer schemes in Latin America under ties with the United Nations, based on the latest reports.

In accordance, the world's 2nd largest IT Corporation by revenue will introduce various activities by utilizing its capabilities in information technology.

In more detail, both sides inked a deal in Brazil earlier this week, where Samsung vowed to kick off volunteer programs through using the organization's know-how.

Samsung first initiated volunteer projects in 1994, and every year; 170,000 staff members from 60 countries participate in the company's volunteer activities.
