Doha Metro project is complete at 37 percent
(MENAFN) More than 37 percent of work on the nearly 80km first phase of Doha Metro is currently finished, which will have total of almost 100 stations.
The project will commence services between the last quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020.
In addition, more than 70 percent of the whole work is taking place underground, while the entire tunneling work would be complete by the end of 2016.
On the other hand, more than 32 percent, of the 14km of the elevated section is now complete, adding the remaining 28km is underground.
