Lebanese security apprehends man over ISIS links

Beirut: Lebanese General Security on Tuesday arrested a Lebanese national over affiliation to ISIS group.

After investigations the arrestee confessed affiliation to ISIS through the group's "Amir" in Wadi Khaled nicknamed Abou Maaz said Lebanon's General Security in a statement today.

The arrestee also confessed having been active within the weapon trade industry in the service of ISIS.

In the wake of investigations the convict was transferred to the concerned judiciary apparatus. Meanwhile work is underway pending the arrest of the other involved members the statement added.
