WATCH: Dubai Police's air wing rescues sailor

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) A video posted on Dubai Police's Facebook page shows the Force's air wing rescue a sailor who was caught in the rough sea.

The 15-second footage follows the rescue operation of a 45-year-old Indonesian sailor who suffered a heart attack while he was at sea. According to Dubai Police the sailor was low on blood sugar too. The sailor and his crew were said to have been traveling at 28 nautical miles off the Dubai Coast.

Fighting strong winds and high waves at sea the General Department of Transport and Rescue dispatched an air ambulance piloted by Ahmad Al Shehhi and Lieutenant-Pilot Mohammad Al Mulla.
