Jordan signs USD 22.58mn deals to ease poverty, unemployment


(MENAFN) Jordan Ministry of Planning and Intl' Cooperation and the Ministry of Labor signed two collaboration deals worth USD 22.58mn to address areas with poverty and unemployment.

Moreover, the two ministers signed an agreement worth USD 19.7mn to apply the third phase of productive branches projects in remote areas, through the Development Fund.

The first deal would finance the establishment of 20 productive branches by building hangers with areas of 600 to 4,000 square meters for factories investing in industrial zones.

Additionally, the second deal will allocate USD 2.81mn from the Planning Ministry's program of enhancing social and economic productivity to help unemployed people.
