(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Jeddah Jumada I 21 1437 Mar 1 2016 SPA -- The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its strong condemnation of the criminal terrorist attack which targeted innocent civilians in Al Sadr district in Baghdad on 28 February 2016 resulting in a number of casualties and serious injuries among the civilians.
The Secretary General Iyad bin Ameen Madani reiterated the OIC's steadfast position in condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
The Secretary General expressed his deep sympathy and condolences to the Iraqi people and leadership and particularly to the families of the victims who have lost their lives as a result of this brutal criminal act. He wished prompt recovery to the injured and prayed that Iraq is spared any future hardships.
