Abu Dhabi Intl' Airport achieves 17.2 percentpassenger traffic

(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) recorded traffic last year, with more than 23mn travelers passing through its terminal, which crossed the 2mn passengers a month mark.

Furthermore, AUH experienced a 17.2 percent increase in traveler traffic compared to 2014, with the first quarter alone achieving 21.1 percent increase.

The AUH continues to see double number traffic growth at Abu Dhabi Intl' Airport in order to cross the 2mn mark for the first time in its history, for four months of the year.

In addition, a huge amount of the increase in traffic can be linked to the strong performance of Etihad Airways, which serves 116 passenger and cargo destinations.
