(MENAFN) Chinese image licensing Co. Visual China Group signed a contract with media service provider Getty Images to handle out Corbis' images and content to customers.
Moreover, Getty Images would distribute Corbis' content, making a collection of more than 200mn images and videos and certain archived contents.
Trailing the sale of its image assets, Corbis will be rebranded and its other businesses will work under a new brand name.
Visual China's division will own and control the images and motion archives, names and trademarks associated with Corbis Images.
