Hyundai Rotem builds subway line in Philippines


(MENAFN) Hyundai Rotem Co., a train-making smaller of Hyundai Motor Group, has inked a contract to build a subway line and other systems in Philippines for USD 440.2mn.

Furthermore, the deals signed with ULC, a regional Co. evokes for Hyundai Rotem to construct a subway line joining a station in Manila to another in Bulacan.

It will also offer the trains to be deployed for the line along with other important communications, signal and electric systems by the second half of 2019.

In addition, it also marks the first time that it has secured an order from the nation on a turn-key basis which will be in charge of the whole project.
