Iran initiates extensive talks with top regional nations


(MENAFN) Iran is currently in talks with regional nations like Kuwait and the UAE, hoping to initiate joint business schemes as soon as the sanctions are lifted.

The Islamic republic will start gas exports to Iraq by next June, as the pipelines have been laid completely and its metering station is ready for operation.

According to the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC), the Islamic republic is basically waiting for Iraq to set up necessary infrastructures in its territory.

In more detail, Iran will start exporting 25 million cubic meters a day of gas to Sadr, Baghdad and al-Mansouryah power plants through the 270 km pipeline.
