Suspect arrested narcotics seized in Amman

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman Dec. 6 (Petra)-- Officers from the Central Traffic Department on Sunday arrested a wanted man for 37 charges and seized quantities of narcotics from his possession according to the Public Security Department (PSD).
It said officers on duty saw a vehicle causing a another car to crash before escaping the scene prompting a Police pursuit through Amman's northern area.
Despite Police warnings to stop the driver refused to comply and continued to crash another car before the car came to a stop and then 4 people got out of it and tried to fled on foot PSD said.
A police officer managed to arrest one of them following a foot chase who has been identified as a suspect wanted over 37 drug trafficking and auto theft cases PSD added.
By searching the vehicle police found 13 blocks of Cannabis 13 bags of Marijuana drug pills and several vehicle registration plates.
