Ireland's unemployment ratio goes under 9 percent

(MENAFN) Ireland's unemployment range decrease to 8.9 percent, becoming the lowest since the end of 2008, and getting down from 15.1 percent in February 2012.

Furthermore; the whole number of jobless people changed to touch less than 200,000 for the first time since the end of 2008, stated the Central Statistics Office.

In addition to the CSO, it also showed that jobs increase in almost all eight areas, since the action plan for jobs had been established in 2012.

"There is still a long way to go before we can say we have replaced all the jobs that were lost, before we can attract young emigrants home in large numbers," said Jobs Minister.
