Oman's business forum harvests deals worth USD2.5b


(MENAFN) During the two-day Business Opportunities Forum in Oman, corporations including small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are expected to sign contracts with an overall worth of USD2.5 billion.

Agreements worth over USD1.2 billion has already been signed by representatives of a number of major firms, including Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) and Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC).

Oman is looking forwards for deals to be inked and for plans for collaboration and investment in the many economic promising sectors in the Sultanate on top of which are industry, tourism and logistic services.

"This third version of the Business Opportunities Forum builds on the success of previous ones, but now we succeeded to attract more firms, thus having delegations from 12 nations," said chairman of Oman's chamber of Commerce.
