Bank to offer student loans


(MENAFN- Arab News)JEDDAH: A local college has signed an agreement with a bank to provide loans for students to complete their studies.
The agreement was signed between Najwa Salem executive director of Batterjee Education and Training Academy (BETA) and Turki Al-Juhani the director of Bank Aljazira in the western region.
Those present included Tahmer Saman manager of the branch Rami Mekouar director of the boys section at BETA Mohammed Al-Ghamdi academic adviser and Denia Abadeen director of BETA's marketing department.
Salem said the aim of the agreement is to help young people complete their studies with loans at zero interest for families. The college wanted to make sure that they are employable she said.
'We want to inspire the Kingdom's youth to be self-reliant and responsible. With our academic plan we want to train them for the labor market' she said.
Al-Juhani said the agreement aims to ensure that students can graduate and find jobs. He praised the work of BETA.
