Emir meets Erdogan in Istanbul
(MENAFN- The Peninsula)Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani with Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul yesterday. During a meeting at Huber Palace the leaders discussed latest regional and international developments particularly in Palestine. They stressed the importance of intensifying efforts towards a unified stance to support and protect the rights of the Palestinian people and urged the international community to put an end to blatant Israeli violations of Jerusalem and Al Aqsa Mosque. Talks also dealt with developments in Syria and Yemen.
Emir arrives in New York
New York: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday arrived at John F Kennedy Airport in New York to take part in the 70th UN General Assembly. He is accompanied by an official delegation. QNA
