Algerian Army Eliminates 2 Militants
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Two militants were killed on Wednesday by a detachment of the Algerian army in Bordj Menaiel, east of Algiers, the Ministry of National Defense said in a statement.
"As part of the fight against terrorism and during a search and combing operation near the village of Ain Hamra in north of the city of Bordj Menaiel, under the operation area of Boumerdes (1st Military Region), a detachment of the People's National Army eliminated, at dawn on 9 September 2015, two terrorists and recovered a Kalashnikov and a quantity of ammunition," the statement said, adding that the operation remains underway.
