Saudi- 5 year old Taif boy left sleeping in car dies
(MENAFN- Arab News) TAIF: In a heartbreaking incident a five-year-old child suffocated to death after his father left him in a car and forgot about it.
Speaking about the event the father in question was quoted in the local media as saying that he took his wife and children to school and returned home. He locked the car and went inside without noticing that his youngest child had fallen asleep in the backseat.
After the children came home from school later that day the boy's sister asked about her brother. By the time the father realized what might have happened and rushed to the car the boy had already died.
The spokesman for Health Affairs in Taif Siraj Al-Humaidan said that the children's hospital received a man holding a five-year-old child who came to seek help following the incident.
Medical workers noted that the child appeared to have died hours ago from suffocation.
