PKK violence

(MENAFN- Arab News) It saddens me to read reports about violence in Turkey. The PKK issue has once again flared up. At a time when the entire region appears to be up in flames and Daesh terrorists are across the Turkish borders the PKK should avoid skirmishes with the government troops. Its activities indicate that it is not sincere with the people of Turkey. The Turkish government should also tread very carefully and deal with the situation cautiously.
It is very much possible that certain forces may be supporting the PKK to realize their dream of creating a new Middle East with an independent Kurdistan region.
The onus lies on the Turkish people both Kurdish and non-Kurdish to work for the preservation of their country's territorial integrity. It is easy to successfully invade a divided house. Paras Masood Dammam
