Emirates Airline to start Mali rout in October

(MENAFN) UAE giant carrier Emirates will add Bamako, the capital of Mali, to its worldwide network from October 25, Arabian Business reported.

A 2.3 million people city, and one of the fastest growing cities in the world, Bamako is located in the south western part of Mali on the Niger River.

The African city will be connected to Emirates already-existing four routs weekly flight to Dakar, Senegal, which is operated by an Emirates Airbus A340-300.

"It will become Emirates' 28th destination in Africa and sixth in West Africa", the airline said in a statement.
