Racism in US
(MENAFN- Arab News) It is really sad to note that racism is once again raising its ugly head in the United States. Until a decade or so ago occurring of such incidents at this frequency in the US was unthinkable. Such incidents are a grim reminder that one should stay focused on domestic issues and avoid interfering in other's affairs.
The impunity with which some white police officers have mistreated or killed African Americans is deplorable. These incidents point toward the decadence of the American society. While writing these lines I feel sad about the US. Undoubtedly the US was a country which gave a new direction to mankind. It really practiced true ideals of freedom. I strongly believe that there is still time left to take corrective measures. I urge all my American friends to stand against racism and don't allow anybody to stoke ethnic or racist tensions in their country. I wish them all the very best. Syed Ahmed Riyadh
