UAE- Airline confirms rat caused flight delay
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Emirates airline on Sunday confirmed that the video footage that went viral recently on the social networking websites showing passengers inside one of their aircraft panicking because of a rodent in the plane is true.
The airline told Khaleej Times it suspended one of its flights - Birmingham to Dubai - after a rat had been spotted on board which caused fear among the passengers especially after all attempts made by the cabin crew to rid the plane of the mouse failed. The passengers were then evacuated and transported to a city hotel and they spent one night there. The airline then arranged a flight to Dubai for the affected passengers. The incident occurred on June 14.
