Turkish firm wins Riyadh's USD610.43m transit system contract


(MENAFN) Yuksel Insaat, a Turkish construction company, won the USD610.43 million 'Riyadh Rapid Bus Transit System' (BRT) project, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Arabian Business reported.

BRT comes under King Abdulaziz Transport System plan. The contract was granted by Ar-Riyadh Development Authority (ADA), with a finance of about USD232.4 million to be extended by the domestic Alinma Bank.

"The project mainly includes road rehabilitation schemes, construction of 21 pairs of Bus Rapid Transit System Stations, 2574 community bus stops and 7 pedestrian bridges in the Saudi capital city," Yuksel's general manager said.
