Royal Oman Police News: Drugs, psychotropic substances seized

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Musandam police has arrested an Asian for drug possession and infiltration.

He was found in an 'unnatural' state in Hana Khasab with 15000 capsules of Tramadol as well as cannabis. In another case a citizen was arrested in Dhofar with a large quantity of khat. He was transporting 818 packs of khat from Thumrait to Salalah in a truck. Officials at the Muscat airport too have seized psychotropic substances hidden in the luggage of some Asian travellers.

Over 4800 boxes of firecrackers seized

Customs officials at the Wajajah border seized firecrackers that were to be smuggled into Oman. Officials found 4816 boxes of firecrackers hidden in six cartons.
