Three Kuwaiti citizens get jail for anti ruler comments
The defendants were accused of participating in an unlicensed gathering and publicly using words that were deemed offensive to the entity of HH the Amir of Kuwait. During the court session the suspects denied the charges and maintained their innocence throughout the trial. They affirmed to the court that they were practicing their constitutional rights of peaceful gathering and freedom of speech.
