Eurozone's construction output down 1.8 percent in February
(MENAFN) Data showed that eurozone's production in the construction sector dropped by 1.8 percent and by 1.2 percent in the 28-nation European Union in February from January, Xinhua reported.
The decline in the eurozone is attributed to the 1.6 percent drop of building construction and a 2.6 percent decline in civil engineering, the EU statistics office (Eurostat) said in a statement.
Among EU member states, the highest decreases in construction output were seen in Germany, France and Portugal, while the largest increases were registered in Romania, Poland and Hungary.
