Nakilat Q1 profit rises 7.7%
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Gas Transport Co (Nakilat), one of the world's largest shippers of liquefied natural gas, posted a 7.7% rise in first-quarter net profit on Sunday.
The company made a net profit of 222.4mn riyals ($61.1mn), it said in a statement. This is up from 206.5mn riyals a year earlier. QNB Financial Services forecast Nakilat would make a quarterly net profit of 233.5mn riyals. Nakilat's quarterly revenue was 873.2mn riyals, up from 860.2mn riyals in the corresponding period in 2014.
