UAE's Habtoor Leighton signs USD95m Omani hotel contract


(MENAFN) Habtoor Leighton Group has been granted a USD95 million contract to construct and develop the Saraya Bandar Jissah hotel in Oman, Arabian Business reported.

Habtoor Leighton, one of the leading diversified international contractors in the Middle East and North Africa, is to construct a five-star, 112-room boutique hotel run by Jumeirah Group.

The hotel is set on a plot of 60,000 square meters, adjoined to a private bay near Bandar Jissah, which lies in the middle of the Hajjar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman.

The project will encompass the main hotel building and seven villas, in addition to an executive lounge, gym, business center, reception, lobby, several restaurants, a prayer room, retail, commercial offices and service facilities.
