Trio arrested for threatening compatriot

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY April 7: Police have arrested three Kuwaitis believed to be ex-criminals for damaging the car of a compatriot and threatening to kill him reports Al-Rai daily. The arrest came when 'someone' reported to the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry that shots were being fired in Sa'ad Al-Abdullah. Police rushed to the spot and saw a Kuwaiti inside his car which looked damaged. The citizen then told the police that an unidentified person approached him and pointed a gun at him and drove off. He added another one approached driving a car carrying Saudi number plates collided with his vehicle in the rear and sped off. The third also driving a car with Saudi number plates drove by him and threatened to shoot him and then shot in the air and escaped. At the site of the incident police found empty bullet shells. Investigations conducted by police led to the arrest of the three people. Without going into more details the daily said the suspects have been referred for interrogation
