
Indian sentenced to die in drug smuggling case
Death for Indian: The Penal Circle of the First Instance Court has sentenced an Indian to death after he was convicted of smuggling and trafficking in heroin and narcotic pills reports Al-Anba daily. The suspect was caught red-handed and police had later found heroin and narcotics from his home. During interrogation the convict had allegedly admitted to the charges filed against him.
Columnist acquitted: The Public Prosecutor acquitted Kuwaiti columnist Ahmed Al-Sarraf after investigations reports Annahar daily.
