Alwaleed, Hollande's special envoy discuss investments
(MENAFN- Arab News) Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), received Jean- Louis Borloo, special envoy to the French President François Hollande.
The meeting was also attended by Adel Alsayed, executive director for International and Private Equity, Mohammed Fahmy, KHC's CFO, Hassna Alturki, executive manager for International Relations to the chairman, Ahmed Altubaishi, executive assistant to the chairman and Kacy Grine, adviser to the chairman.
The meeting began as Borloo thanked Prince Alwaleed for giving him the opportunity to meet with him.
The two discussed political, economic and cultural matters.
They also discussed the bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and France, especially KHC's investments in France that are considered to be the largest Saudi presence in France through the ownership and management of the iconic landmark.
Earlier this year, Prince Alwaleed received at his office in Riyadh, Dominique De Villepin, former French premier.
In December 2014, Prince Alwaleed met President Hollande during their visit to Senegal.
During the visit, Hollande and Prince Alwaleed attended the 15th Francophonie Summit at the International Conference Center of Dakar in response to an invitation from Macky Sall, president of Senegal.
