UAE's NMC Health buys USD163m stake in Spanish Clinica Eugin
(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi-headquartered NMC Health purchased an 86.4 percent stake, worth USD163 million, in a Spanish fertility clinic, Arabian Business reported.
The healthcare firm made the deal after reporting a pre-tax profit worth USD77.5 million in 2014 against the USD69.1 million of 2013. Revenue also increased from USD550.9 million to USD643.9 million.
"This transaction offers NMC the opportunity to become the leading integrated women's health provider from fertility through obstetrics and paediatrics in the UAE," NMC Health's CEO said in a statement.
