Adnoc to decide on BP, Shell revised concession bids
(MENAFN) Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) is to decide on the revised bids from BP and Royal Dutch Shell for stakes in an inshore oilfield concession, Emirates 247 reported.
In accordance with what was offered by France-based Total, which already renewed its concession, BP and Shell were asked to raise their signing bonus.
Adnoc and Total agreed on that the French company is to give the firm a 10 percent stake in the new concession to help in operating UAE's largest oilfield.
"BP and Shell have made their (revised) offers, their bids are received well," a source told Reuters. Adnoc could make its announcement "soon", the source said.
