Jordan Free from Avian Flu
(MENAFN- QNA) The Jordanian Agriculture Ministry has confirmed today that the country is completely free from any cases of avian flu.
The Ministry announced that it tightened measures on border points and took measures that prevent appearance of the deadly H5N1 strain in Jordan.
The Ministry's Media Spokesman Nimr Haddadeen said Jordan is completely free from any cases of bird flu, according to a report by the World Organization for Animal Health, noting that the Ministry has precautionary measures to prevent access of any birds infected with the disease to Jordan.
