Jordan foils attempt to smuggle large quantity of weapons from Syria
(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Jordanian Border guards have foiled an attempt to smuggle in a large quantity of weapons coming from Syrian territory.
Jordan's official news agency, Petra, quoting a Jordan Armed Forces source, said that border guards intercepted an SUV which tried to cross the border with a huge cache of arms. The forces damaged the vehicle and are currently examining its load of weapons.
