UAE condemns Algerian Embassy attack in Libya
(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the terrorist bombing which targeted the Embassy of the Republic of Algeria in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, yesterday.
In today's statement, the UAE Foreign Ministry said that "this cowardly terrorist act is contradicting the rules of international law guaranteeing due protection of diplomatic missions and aims to disrupt the efforts of the legitimate government in Libya to strengthen security and stability in the country." The statement stressed the need for solidarity of all international and regional efforts and joint and hard action to counter terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
