Saudi Port Authority invested USD266.29m on projects in 2014


(MENAFN) The Ports Authority said that it had carried out a number of projects worth about USD266.29 million last year, Arab News reported.

These projects included the expansion of power supplies, new sidewalks, improvements in road and traffic signal services, security networks upgrades and amendments to traffic regulations.

The Authority said that the main project were the projects doe at Yanbu Port, which cost more than USD106.51 million, with the projects designed to increase the port's capacity and strength to receive ships carrying larger volumes.
