The Wave, Muscat and Oman Sail celebrate 44th National Day

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Wave Muscat and Oman Sail celebrated the sultanate's 44th National Day in a ceremony that brought together children from various schools across Muscat to express their allegiance and admiration for His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

Led by a traditional Omani band more than 200 students aged between 9 to 12 years  marched to the waterfront community's retail hub 'The Walk'  towards Oman Sail's headquarters in Almouj Marina.

The festivities were joined by residents representing over 60 nationalities retailers and partners and employees of the companies.

The marina had a spectacular backdrop that displayed a timeline of Oman's most prominent achievements. Upon the arrival of the students the national flag was handed to 44 of Oman Sail's young champions who then sailed onboard a parade of colourful boats carrying a unified message.

'Togetherness prosperity and diversity were some of the themes we wanted to incorporate within our National Day activity as a means of signifying the outstanding development of Oman under His Majesty. Our gathering is a testimony to the level of investment across every tier of the country's infrastructure.
