Saudi- Drug smuggler executed
(MENAFN- Arab News) A convicted drug trafficker was executed Wednesday the Interior Ministry announced.
Mohammed bin Abd Al-Ghani bin Hassan Aal-Khatir a Saudi "was caught smuggling a large quantity of drugs in the form of pills into the Kingdom inside his luggage" the Saudi Press Agency said citing a statement by the ministry.
The death sentence was carried out in the northern region of Al-Jawf. The latest beheading brought to 66 the number of executions this year
Since Oct. 15 six Pakistanis have also been executed for drug trafficking.
