Spatial Solutions awarded USD14m contract by Etihad Airways
(MENAFN) Etihad Airways, the UAE's national airline, announced it has awarded a USD14 million contract to Spatial Composite Solutions, a UAE-based manufacturer of crew-training equipment for global civil aviation, Gulf News reported.
Under the contract, Spatial will design and manufacture 14 cabin crew training devices, including Boeing 787 Dreamliner models and Airbus A380, and then install them at the Etihad Innovation Training Academy.
The contract also states that the company will build a series of door and cabin trainers catering to Etihad's growing fleet of Boeing 777, Airbus A320, and Airbus A330.
