4 Saudi prisoners in Bahrain refuse to be extradited


(MENAFN- Arab News) Four Saudi prisoners in Manama have refused to be transferred back home to complete their prison terms under a prisoner exchange agreement between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

Abdullah Al-Shaikh Saudi ambassador to Bahrain said the Saudi Embassy was finalizing transfer procedures for four Saudi prisoners out of a total 55 in the country.

Saudi prisoners are serving time in Bahrain's Jo central prison for several offenses.

The prisoner exchange agreement between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain which is not a mutual prisoner swap accord became effective after being approved by both countries.
