India's industrial production down 0.5 percent in July
(MENAFN) According to official data released, India's industrial production dipped to 0.5 percent in July compared to 3.4 percent registered a month earlier, Xinhua reported.
July's figures were lower-than-expected, as analysts had previously forecasted that industrial production during the month would hit 1.8 percent, the data showed.
The figures of industrial production for the mining, manufacturing and electricity sectors in July rose by 2.1 percent, 1 percent and 11.7 percent, respectively.
