Emirates Airlines revenue to drop in 2014
(MENAFN) Emirates Airlines is expected to face a decrease in its revenue this year after cancelling a number of routes due to safety threats, Gulf News reported.
The airlines has halted its flight services to Arbil, Iraq, Kiev and Ukraine while announcing it might avoid flying over parts of Iraqi airspaces soon due to rising instability in the country.
Emirates already had a USD1 billion decrease in revenue this year due to runway closures at Dubai International Airport, which lasted 80 days and ended last month.
