Oman chooses UK's Mace to develop OCC project
(MENAFN) The Omani government has picked the UK-based international consultancy and construction firm Mace to provide Project and Cost Management services in the development of the iconic Oman Cultural Complex (OCC) project in Muscat, according to Oman Obserever.
Under the agreement, Mace will support the Ministry of Heritage and Culture in the establishment of a world-class landmark that will showcase the country"s vibrant cultural heritage.
Mace said in a statement: "The OCC was a concept developed by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture to establish a national centre of culture as part of their strategy to promote cultural and artistic innovations. In addition, His Majesty the Sultan"s vision is for the OCC to create a landmark location of international scale."
