Cambodia's Soma Group, CP Intertrade sign deal to build rice mill
(MENAFN) Cambodian Soma Group along with Thailand's C.P. Intertrade have signed a joint venture agreement to build a rice milling and refining in the region of Kampong Speu province in Cambodia, Xinhua reported.
The deal was inked between Sok Puthyvuth, chief executive officer of Soma Group, and Prasit Damrongchietanon, vice-chairman of C.P. Trading Group.
The joint venture was to invest in constructing a large-scale rice milling and refining factory in Cambodia with an estimated investment of USD50 million, CEO of Soma Group said.
