ADB provides USD350m loan for Indonesia project

(MENAFN) The Asian Development bank (ADB) announced that it has provided Indonesia with a USD350 million loan, Xinhua reported
The ADB said that the loan is for the construction of a 320-megawatt geothermal power plant in the country's North Sumatra
Of the total loan package of the Sarulla Geothermal Power Development Project, USD250 million will come through ordinary capital resources.
An additional USD80 million will come through the ADB Clean Technology Fund, while the remaining USD20 million will be from the Canadian Climate Fund for Private Sector in Asia
Six commercial banks will also co-finance the loan package as the Sarulla Geothermal Power Development Project requires a total loan package of USD1.17 billion
