Taiwan's Hon Hai profit up 12.7 percent in 2013


(MENAFN) Taiwan tech giant Hon Hai Precision, the world"s largest contract manufacturer for electronics, posted a 12.7 percent rise in net profit year-on-year in 2013 on growing demand for Apple's new products, according to the Peninsula Qatar



The profit the company could make came after the release of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in September 2013



The company's net profit boosted to USD3.20 billion in 2013 compared to USD3.111 billion in 2012



The group"s overall sales hit a record high of USD129 billion, up from USD128 billion in 2012
