US consumer spending up in Feb


(MENAFN) Spending in the US increased in February as income rose slightly more than expected, Xinhua reported



The US Commerce Department said that personal consumption expenditures (PCE) rose 0.3 percent in February



Personal income also increased 0.3 percent in the month, matching January's growth pace



Savings rate went up 4.3 percent last month from 4.2 percent in the month before it
