Vietnamese refinery uplifts central region
(MENAFN) Vietnam's Dung Quat Oil Refinery lifted the central Quang Ngai province from poverty to transform to a key economic hub in the central region, Xinhua reported
The oil refinery began operation in 2010 and has produced 26 million tons of oil, petrol and gas so far
Last year, the plant produced 6.6 million tons of oil, petrol and gas, going 17 percent up its target and bringing USD7.3 billion in revenue
The refinery's profit in the year hit USD138 million, and it contributed USD1.3 billion to state budget
