Obama, Najib To Have Broad Discussion In April: US Envoy
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) US Ambassador to Malaysia Joseph Y.Yun said that he expects that US President Barack Obama will have a broad discussion with Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, when the President visits Malaysia in April.
Un said he expects a good and broad discussion among others on trade and investment, education, developing green economy, as well as strengthening bilateral ties, state-run news agency (Bernama) reported.
Obama was scheduled to visit Malaysia in October last year but it was postponed following shutdown of the administrative operations in the US. However, he re-scheduled his visit here and three other Asian countries, Japan, South Korea and the Philippines which are expected to take place in late April.
Yun said he was very much expecting Obama to come here and have a very good discussion with the prime minister "which is good for everyone.
